What is Chiropractic?
The term chiropractic comes from the Greek word "cheiro + praktikos" meaning "done by hand." Chiropractic is a drug-free, hands-on approach to health care. It is based upon the understanding that good health depends, in part, upon a normally functioning nervous system. Accidents, falls, stress, tension, overexertion, and countless other factors can result in displacements or disarrangements of the spinal column, causing irritation to spinal nerves. By adjusting the vertebrae back to a more normal position this will help the body to operate more efficiently and more comfortably.
